Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing (Java + Selenium). The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing, solid analytical skills, and hands-on experience in automation frameworks. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed manual testing including functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and contribute to automation coverage
• Create, review, and maintain test cases, test plans, and documentation
• Perform API, UI, and integration testing to validate end-to-end workflows
• Execute test cases (manual & automated), analyze results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and quality risks
• Continuously improve QA processes, strategies, and automation practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation)
• Strong experience in manual testing (test case design, execution, defect tracking)
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (2–4+ years)
• Experience with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber
• Solid experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
Good to Have
• Experience in transitioning projects from manual to automation
• Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Basic knowledge of performance testing (JMeter or similar)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with Git/version control
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
