Application Management Support (AMS)

Position Summary:

 

We are looking for an experienced one. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in vendor management, and a deep understanding of AMS processes. This role requires ensuring high-quality service delivery, efficient vendor management, and maintaining alignment with business objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

Service Delivery Management:

Oversee the delivery of AMS services provided by TCS and other vendors.

Ensure service levels are met and continuously improved.

Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Vendor Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors such as TCS.

Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.

Negotiate contracts, renewals, and amendments as necessary.

Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits.

Operational Oversight:

Ensure smooth operation of AMS processes and adherence to best practices.

Coordinate with internal teams to align AMS activities with business needs.

Implement and maintain ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and service enhancements.

Drive initiatives to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the AMS team and vendors.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact for AMS-related matters.

Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.

Provide regular updates and reports on AMS performance and initiatives.

Financial Management:

Manage the AMS budget, including forecasting and cost control.

Ensure cost-effective delivery of services without compromising on quality.

Compliance and Security:

Ensure all AMS activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the implementation of security measures to protect sensitive data.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.


Experience:


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT service delivery or application management support.

• Proven experience in managing vendors such as TCS.

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and AMS best practices.
