Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Quality Engineer (Automation) who is passionate about ensuring software/data service quality, a person who can work on QA principles and testing methodologies focused on data quality assurance. This new position is a hundred percent hands-on and full time.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform end-to-end API testing using Rest Assured and Postman, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage BDD frameworks using Cucumber and Gherkin syntax for effective collaboration.
• Create, execute, and optimize test cases leveraging TestNG or hybrid testing frameworks.
• Manage version control using Git and handle build dependencies with Maven/Gradle.
• Validate microservices architecture and test asynchronous APIs for seamless system integration.
• Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing, ensuring application reliability.
• Debug, track, and resolve issues, logging them effectively using tools like Jira.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning and standups.
• Document and maintain test plans, cases, and results, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Requirement:
• Java: Core Java, Strong object-oriented programming and problem-solving skills.
• Selenium with Java: Advanced expertise in automating web applications.
• Rest Assured and Postman: Hands-on experience in API testing.
• BDD Tools: Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin syntax.
• Test Frameworks: Knowledge of TestNG or other Hybrid automation frameworks.
• CI/CD: Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, Git, gitHub, CI/CD, or similar for automation integration.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Build Tools: Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in testing microservices architecture and asynchronous APIs.
