Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering leader to lead our Center of Excellence in India. This role is responsible for engineering delivery, technical leadership, and people management across multiple teams. You will work closely with US-based stakeholders to align engineering execution with product strategy, business goals, and customer needs. Strong leadership, communication, and execution skills are critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee engineering teams within the Center of Excellence, ensuring high performance, growth, and delivery excellence.
· Provide technical and organizational leadership across multiple Scrum teams and team leads.
· Partner closely with US stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical direction, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
· Act as a senior liaison between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
· Drive agile development practices and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of SaaS products.
· Establish and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and scalable architectures.
· Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, supporting career growth and leadership development.
· Collaborate with product management, design, and QA to define and execute product roadmaps.
· Balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution and operational priorities.
· Oversee resource planning, prioritization, and dependency management across teams.
· Monitor engineering performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement efficiency gains.
· Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and SaaS development best practices.
· Provide regular updates to leadership on delivery status, risks, and organizational health.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
· Proven experience leading distributed engineering teams in an offshore or global delivery model.
· Strong background in SaaS product development and agile methodologies.
· Experience setting technical direction and making architectural decisions at scale.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering leaders.
