DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer with 7+ years of overall experience to support, secure, and scale our cloud infrastructure for delivering modern, AI-powered applications and services. This role plays a critical part in embedding security across the entire software delivery lifecycle while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Microsoft Azure, strong security fundamentals, and a passion for automation and cloud-native best practices. While Azure is the primary cloud platform, exposure to AWS or GCP is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design, deploy, and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in production environments

·         Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure

·         Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for secure and automated deployments

·         Integrate security controls and automated security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) into CI/CD pipelines

·         Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and network security

·         Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, cost optimization, and compliance with security standards

·         Monitor system health, performance, and security events using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools

·         Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis

·         Collaborate closely with application developers, ML engineers, and security teams to provision secure environments

·         Support compliance efforts for standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar frameworks

Required Skills & Experience: 

DevSecOps & Infrastructure

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience securing and scaling cloud infrastructure

Containerization & Orchestration

• 3+ years of production experience with Kubernetes
• 5+ years of experience building and running containers using Docker

Cloud Platforms

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (primary cloud platform)
• Working exposure to AWS or GCP is a plus

CI/CD & Automation

• 5+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines for automated and secure deployments
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools

Infrastructure as Code

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Pulumi

Security & Networking

• Strong experience implementing cloud security controls (IAM, secrets, encryption, vulnerability management)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, firewalls, secure service communication)
• Experience integrating security tools such as Snyk, Trivy, Aqua, Checkov, or similar

Monitoring & Observability

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Azure Monitor, or Sentinel

Scripting & Automation

• Comfortable scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell

• Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) or ingress controllers (NGINX, Traefik)
• Exposure to supporting AI/ML workloads (GPU provisioning, model serving)
• Experience with secrets management tools (Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault)
• Familiarity with policy-as-code and automated compliance (OPA, Sentinel)
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
