Position Summary:
As a Platform Software Engineer IV, you will be contributing to the design and development of AI solutions, services, components, and SDKs that will be leveraged as foundational pieces in various products. You will primarily work with latest versions of .NET and Python, as well as leverage SQL based and document-based databases (MongoDB) and various cloud services to create modern forward-looking solutions. You will also be expected to learn new technologies and apply that knowledge in creating new prototypes. Software Engineer IVs are also expected to mentor more junior team members
Responsibilities:
● Hands on keyboard developing solutions, services, components, and SDKs leveraged globally
● Works closely with the team and reports clearly and accurately to management
● Guides and trains less experienced engineers
● Makes recommendations regarding architecture, technology selection from languages to libraries, frameworks, and cloud-based services.
● Troubleshoots, tests and validates software issues; resolves issues with due urgency and maintains thorough documentation of all software solutions
● Researches and learns new technologies and apply that knowledge to our solutions
● Maintains existing legacy .NET MVC solutions
● Rapidly creates reliable, scalable, and maintainable modern solutions
Requirement:
● 7+ years' experience in designing and developing new modern cloud-based solutions or maintaining existing software applications
● 3+ years’ experience in .NET, and C#, SQL and related Microsoft stack technologies
● 2+ years' experience in Python and related technologies
● 2+ years of working knowledge of Azure (AWS or GCP experience would be considered)
● Familiarity with the Visual Studio or VS Code IDE
● Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
● Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to deliver high-quality solutions and receive constructive feedback
● Able to and loves to rapidly learn new programming languages and technologies and apply that knowledge in creating new solutions.
Preferred Skills & Experience
● Experience in developing Generative AI solutions using cloud-based services such as Azure Open AI, AWS Bedrock or GCP Vertex AI as well as various AI frameworks
● Agentic AI experience
● Experience in leveraging AI development tools and AI models such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.
